Started in 2009, RIPENOW is the first company in Fresno to deliver a wide array of our valley’s ripe and healthy fruits to local businesses.

As a company, RIPENOW shares the same concerns many businesses do when it comes to employee health. We want our employees to be healthy and feel great, because healthier employees mean healthier business. A healthy individual is typically more productive, has a lower absentee rate, and can save hundreds of dollars on health insurance premiums, leading to better bottom lines.

One of the first steps towards better and sustained health is what we choose to eat. At RIPENOW we want to empower local businesses to take that first step towards better health by providing healthy snacks in the work place.

RIPENOW has searched the valley around Fresno California area, for local farmers whose focus is on sustainably grown fruit that engages all your senses and transports you back to yesteryear. Their fruit is not meant to withstand the rigors of commercial distribution or win some durability prize. These are special farmers who compete for titles such as, “most flavorful”, “juiciest”, “best color” and “most fragrant.” Their fruit can only be enjoyed here, now…..RIPENOW!

RIPENOW wants to support and encourage the heritage of our local farmers. Our valley was built on the principles they stress everyday: fresh, local, flavorful and healthy. Our customers reap the rewards of these efforts, and we hope they will cause a tremendous ripple effect: A local food system is strengthened, a local economy is stimulated, open spaces are preserved for future generations and a new food culture develops.

RIPENOW recognizes that this valley, our valley, has all the ingredients of a food culture that can easily surpass anything Western Europe has to offer.
